In this article, the authors consider the issue of normative consolidation of the powers of the prosecutor's office in the field of law-making. Legislative acts regulating the law-making activities of the prosecutor's office are analyzed. In particular, within the framework of this issue, certain legislative norms are considered, specifying the analyzed competence. Based on the study, it is concluded that in addition to federal legislation, the reflection of the law-making functions of the prosecutor's office is also observed in the normative acts of local governments. The gap side of the normative legal acts of the federal level on the law-making activities of the prosecutor's office is highlighted: the lack of normative consolidation of the basic requirements for prosecutors with these powers, and the format for consolidating this norm in a separate article of federal legislation is proposed.
