The standardized lexis of the terminological field “Radio-Telephony Communication of Civil Aviation” falls into 4 layers (according to the frequency of word usage): minor nucleus, major nucleus, next-to-the-nucleus layer and periphery. The terminological field under discussion covers 7 micro fields corresponding to different phases of the flight and described in terms of scenarios and frames.
