The article reviews the mechanisms of regulation of oil and gas companies’ activities. Instruments of the state and corporate regulation are named. The author considers shortcomings of the state regulation of oil and gas economy sector. Systematization of management instruments of oil and gas companies’ subdivisions in the context of administrative levels is shown.
