Regulation of regional employment and labor migration: trends, priorities, projects

In the article the priority directions of the authorities of the Volgograd region in the sphere of employment and labour migration today are studied. The authors pay a special attention to the important aspects of the activity of regional authorities in the prevention of an increased unemployment and migration reflux of the population which become obvious social problems together with the deceleration of the economic growth, dependence of the regional economy on the resource industries and a low investment activity. The activity of regional authorities of the correction of the regional legal base in the sphere of the employment and labour migration is studied. At the same time a special attention is paid to the activity of the Committee for Labour and Employment of the population and their territorial employment offices.
