Regulation of sport in European associations unions

The article justifies the formation of European sports law. The European Union and the Council of Europe actively cooperate with the international sports organizations. They pursue a policy of sports activities professional regulation. The formation of European sports law contributes to the increase of professionalism in the sport, the protection of rights of the sports activity subjects, protection of sports from abuse, and manipulation of the competition results. European States Union are developing programs of cooperation in the sphere of sports, and participating in international sport movement.
