Currently, the activities of innovation-oriented enterprises are dynamically implementing reengineering technologies as a tool for strategic enterprise management. The use of non-modern methods and tools for developing and implementing management solutions leads to a loss of image and competitive positions in the market. New and improved business process reengineering concepts are beginning to have a positive impact on the development of outdated management models. This allows us to improve production performance through analysis and modeling and meet the requirements of competition in the markets of products and services. The article proposes a model of business process reengineering based on optimal management criteria. The features of the established indicators of business processes, their essence and characteristics are presented in detail. The constructive role of information technologies is noted. The main advantages and disadvantages associated with the reengineering of business processes are described. The effect of reengineering business processes can be expressed by a significant improvement in the performance of an innovation-oriented enterprise, which can include: improving the quality and speed of the creation of goods or services, reducing production costs, increasing competitive positions, increasing the maneuverability and manageability of the enterprise through the transparency of the internal mechanism of its activities, increasing the professionalism of staff.
