Recommendations on electric energy saving in agricultural production

The article provides practical recommendations for saving energy in agricultural production for the development of annual and long-term plans of organizational-technical measures on rational use and energy savings. These recommendations are: control of the use of electricity, electrical equipment and electrical installations; energy consumption rationing; supply reliability; the quality of the voltage and reduce energy losses in electric networks; efficient use of electric motors; electrotechnology in livestock and crop production. The article provides data of acceptable deviations from the nominal voltage and the relative voltage drop and power with reactive power compensation. Shows the graphical dependence of the efficiency and power factor of the motor from the load factor. Formulae for the calculation of the amount of saving of electrical energy that can be used in the planning and implementation of technical measures. This is due to the fact that there was interest in power saving, because the real state of the national economy forces to reduce the cost of production. At the state level has been adopted and approved the concept of the political strategy on energy efficiency, but despite this, not all activities realize the need of careful attitude to energy consumption. Today, the agricultural production as it was, and remains a branch of production with a low energy efficiency. It is the rise in production requires you to pay attention to the problem of energy saving. Putting the economy on energy saving way of development is not just lower costs, cheaper products, but a transition to a qualitatively new level of production and consumption. Costs for energy consumed in the production cost in some sectors of agricultural production up to 60 %, but energy prices today are high enough, so the problem of energy saving gained importance.
