Reconstruction of the melody of the epic «Geser» (based on the melody of the anonymous Kudinsky Uliger)

The article is devoted to the reconstruction of the musical component of the Buryat epic tale «Geser», which is one of the most important and inseparable components of this work, which was lost due to various circumstances. Nevertheless, thanks to the development of musical folklore in the second half of the XX century, some performing traditions and melodic features of other Buryat legends have been preserved, which makes it possible to reconstruct the lost melody of the epic «Geser». As a result of the work carried out, it became possible to model the melodic basis of the epic close to the original version.
