Reconstruction of the content of ethnic stereotypes by a projective drawing method on the example of Russian and Buryat students

This article describes a study aimed to identify the differences between the auto- and hetero-stereotypes of Russian and Buryat students using the drawing method. The results showed that the hetero-stereotype of Russian students is more positive than the auto-stereotype; the auto-stereotype of the Buryat students is more positive than the hetero-stereotype; the auto-stereotypes of both ethnic groups are more emotionally-cognitively filled than hetero-stereotypes; auto- and hetero-stereotypes of Buryat students have less emotional-cognitive fullness in comparison with the auto- and hetero-stereotypes of Russian students.
