Reconstructive rhinoplasty in oncology

Fifty-seven patients who underwent nasal reconstruction with local flaps for skin cancer were analyzed. Total 83 local flaps were performed. The choice of the flap was based on the location, size, and depth of the defect. Complications was noted in 3 cases (3,6 %). Another 54 patients haven't got any complications. The results of our study suggests that the using a local flaps for nasal reconstruction is a simple and reliable way to restore the nose in different clinical situations with a low complication rate
