Recreation activity as a social-pedagogical problem

The article analyzes the main scientific points of view on the phenomenon of “recreation activity”. It defines the mechanism of development of this phenomenon in some retrospective conditions. It identifies the nature of recreation activity and the main features of its essence. The author has highlighted the problems in the sphere of professional education (49.03.01 (034300) -Physical culture) and has offered the ways of solving the problems.
