Requisition as a political arrangement in Russia in 1914-1921

Requisition during the war period has always been studied by researchers through the prism of the economic factor. Its use was considered primarily in the context of the State's search for material resources to launch any political projects, less often by opposition forces. At the same time, the use of requisition for purely political purposes, especially in the context of involuntary population movements, has been overlooked. The article examines the transformation of the phenomenon of requisition as an arrangement of political influence. Based on the actor-network approach to the analysis of normative-legal acts of the Russian state in 1914-1921, the author reveals the features of the process of requisition formation as a political arrangement. As a result, forced alienation became an integral part of the Soviet political arrangement.
