Theology and religion science: problems of borders (on the issue of religion science and theology integration into the system of higher education of modern Russia)

The article deals with the problem of integrating theology into the system of higher education in contemporary Russia. The author makes an attempt to define the structure of theology and reveal links between theology and other disciplines that study religion. To characterize peculiarities of the subject matter of theology he compares theological discourse and mythological knowledge within a number of aspects. The differences between theology and religion study are shown in the light of theology development in the modern Western society.
