Religious Situation in Buryatia in Terms of COVID-19

Under the onslaught of the coronavirus pandemic, states had to change the political, economic, cultural and other aspects of social everyday life. The article presents a study of the religious situation in the Republic of Buryatia in terms of the coronavirus. Interviewing of clergymen of Orthodoxy, Buddhism and Shamanism was carried out; the ways of functioning of temples within the limits of restrictions during a pandemic are considered. The author concludes that society, despite significant restrictions, continued to turn to religion.
