The religious factor in the formation of ethno-cultural identity (on the example of Iran)

The article deals with the dynamics and role of the religious beliefs of Iranians in the formation of the ethnic and cultural identity of this ethnic group. Transformation of the territorial identity of Iranians in the context of Zoroastrian categories and the influence of Shiism in the modern Iran also are analyzed.
