Recently considerable importance among clinicians is attached to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) as a deteriorative factor of cardiovascular disease. The aim of the research is to study the morphometric parameters of left ventricle (LV) in patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS). A total of 107 patients with hypertension, of whom 64 patients with hypertension with OSA and 43 patients with isolated AH were studied. Computer monitoring pulseoximetry and transthoracic echocardiography were performed to all participants. According to the results of echocardiography in patients with AH and OSAS significant increase of the thickness of the interventricular septum (IVST), p
