The processes have been studied, which occur in bone fragments during regeneration in the defects separated from soft tissues with resorbable material. The changes of the optical density (OD) of the bone fragment shadows have been revealed at the experimental stages studied. The changes of the OD values of the proximal and distal bone fragments have been noted to be synchronous throughout the experiment. It has been shown that the roentgenodensitometric study gives the possibility to follow the OD change dynamics in the process of the experiment and to determine the peculiarities in the progress of the processes occurring in the bone fragments.
