X-ray diagnostics of acute and chronic non-specific inflammation of bones and joints

Diagnostics of inflammatory diseases of bones, joints, spine present certain difficulties, especially now when antibacterial treatment often begins before the establishment of the definitive diagnosis. Serious difficulties arise also in differential diagnostics of those diseases with dystrophic processes and tumors. The radiological signs of the commonest skeletal inflammatory diseases are presented.
