The article publishes the results of X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) of 58 Bosporan bronze sestertii of the first and second centuries AD from the hoard found at the ancient Korzhevsky 6 settlement (Slavyansk district of the Krasnodar Territory) in 2021. A rare homogeneous assemblage provided new opportunities for studying coinage alloys and identifying potential sources of copper for the Bosporan mint in the last third of the 1st century to the mid 2nd century AD. It is assumed that copper came most likely from deposits of polymetallic ores localized in the Caucasus, as well as the Balkan-Carpathian ore belt, and possibly the Ural copper-pyrrhotite deposits.
