Repression against the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church in the European North of Russia in 1920-1921

The article is devoted to one of the stages of the persecution of the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church, namely 1920-1921, marked by a campaign to combat “counter-revolutionary” views and anti-Soviet ideology. This period was characterized by the persecution of the clergy who had sided with the anti-Bolshevik forces during the Civil War. The author examines the cases of priests who were prosecuted for their activities in 1918-1920 on the territory of the Arkhangelsk and Olonets dioceses. The research is based on the materials of judicial and investigative cases, meetings of the revolutionary tribunals.
