Representation of the Christian component in onomasticon of a small city (on the example of Torzhок)

This article presents a sociolinguocultural study of hagiotoponyms in the city of Torzhok, provides their classification according to various motivating grounds, considers examples of lost and preserved hagiotoponyms and ecclesionyms, which are important fragments of the onomastic space of a small town.
