Manifestation of the concept “marriage” in English languaculture

The article studies the manifestation of the concept “Marriage” in the English linguistic culture on the basis of proverbs and sayings. The study of the paroemiological fund allows determining the content of the concept “Marriage” in the minds of the English people, its specificity. An analysis of proverbs and sayings can help identify the most important, from the point of view of a native speaker, moral values of the English ethnos and determine their specific character, as a result of the interaction of history, culture and mentality.
