Representation of the concept of “charit'e” in paremies (on the material of the French migration media discourse)

This article discusses the concept of “CHARITÉ” through the prism of a paramiological picture of the world. The authors are focused on French proverbs, actualizing this concept in the linguistic picture of the world of French nation. During the analysis, the cognitive-discourse functions of paremias were described. The material contains examples from political and migration discourses, including the media - Le Figaro, L’Humanité - news reports, editorials.
