Dreams are a concept that acts as a sign, a symbol in culture, and as a subject of study of anthropology in a linguistic, social, religious and psychological context. The article considers the symbolic significance of dreams and the interpretation of Manaschi dreams in the Kyrgyz ethnoculture, which is a unique way of transmitting the gift of the narrator of the epic "Manas" to subsequent generations. Manaschi's dreams had a very important role in the fate and work of each storyteller, since it was believed that through sleep the spirits of the ancestors of Manas chose or blessed them to become Manaschi. Using the method of interpretation, we tried to reveal and explain the meaning of each dreamed image, and interpret these prophetic dreams, and came to the following conclusion: each dreamed image had a certain semantic concept that predicts the fate and meaning of the talent of the storyteller-manaschi. Such beliefs are still practiced today.
