Representation of the concept of “speech aggression” in Russian language classes

The article explores the manifestations of verbal aggression and hate speech as a conscious type of speech behavior. The author analyzes bloggers' publications on various topics and comments on them, presents the examples of overcoming speech aggression using rational argumentation with neutral language means. It is proved that the analysis of the lexical structure of the text and the means of representing the author's position (non-literary vocabulary, language play, etiquett e formulas, metacommunicative components, appeals to the reader and calls to action, stable formulas characteristic of the author's style, the creation of increased emotionality, changing logical relationships, the possibility of change of facts), the study of discourse and communicative att itude, comparisons with similar cases help to identify the methods of speech aggression in bloggers' publications and comments. It is important not only the position of the author of the media text, but also the reaction of readers who also tend to use verbal aggression. It is revealed that verbal aggression serves as a means of creating the eff ect of direct communication. Th e author notes that when representing the concept of speech aggression in the educational and educational process, emphasis should be placed on ways to counteract destructive phenomena. Th e results of the study can contribute to a more precise defi nition of the concept of “speech aggression”, the accumulation of information about this phenomenon and the development of confl ictological and countermanipulative competencies of students.
