The article defines a methodological field of studying the multilevel phenomenon of dominance and analyzes the empirical material characterizing relations of power as discursive one. Power resource includes not only coercive power as it is, but also is shaping values, meaningful for definite social groups in the concrete-historical perspective. The power of mass media is a currently central target of critical discourse research. Critical discourse analysis enables identifying the dominant daily discourses, which represent celebrated socio-political processes and phenomena. Stereotypes, prejudices and other attributes of hate language take shape on the level of manipulative and ideological discourses; and they are replicated by means of media scene. Being realized by means of the newspeak system, i.e. an artificial language system, which accumulates these discourses, temporary conceptions of realness, referentiality, objectivity and other markers of the modern world order stability are approved in society, eventually defining the agent identity.
