Representations of politeness in lexical meaning of the words (on the example of the adjective «polite» and it's derivatives)

Politeness as the basic category of speech etiquette is investigated in the article. It is shown, as etiquettes norms are reflected in semantics of an adjective "polite" and its derivatives. The basic representations about politeness are revealed on the basis of contexts with a word "polite" and compatibilities of this word and its derivatives.
