Constructivism and representationism are considered as antipodes of the conceptual foundations of modern education, their critical analysis is based on the methodology of I. Kant and G. Hegel. The relevance of constructivism in the process of creating creative thinking that transforms nature and is responsible for the consequences of human activity is substantiated.
