Solving the problem of intraregional differentiation in order to ensure regional investment

The current stage of economic development is characterized not only by a high level of interregional, but also intraregional differentiation, which has a direct impact on the level of investment provision of municipalities located in the region. This trend is a deterrent to the implementation of state programs, which does not contribute to the achievement of strategic goals for the development of the region and, as a result, negatively affects the sustainability of its functioning. The article, using the example of the Kaluga Region, offers recommendations for reducing the level of intraregional differentiation for the purposes of investment provision of the region and municipalities located on its territory.
