The specificity of formation of fresh groundwater resources on the north coast of the Sea of Okhotsk is characterized. A significant role is played by the location of the territory to the south of the Main Watershed of the Earth. There are discontinuous and little discontinuous permafrost, therefore the main elements of the active water exchange zone are aquifer of seasonal thawed layer, suprapermafrost and through taliks, as well as water-bearing zone of supergene subpermafrost fracture. In this regard, in the study area the groundwater runoff module reaches the highest values in the North-East of Russia. General-rank were predictive maintenance of groundwater resources, accepted equal to 10% of the minimum runoff in the winter time, is estimated at 768 thousand. m3/day.
