The problem of treating mandibular fractures continues to be one of the most important problems in maxillofacial surgery, which ensures both the high prevalence of this principle and the lack of a universal surgical strategy. This situation negatively affects the immediate and long-term consequences of treatment, which causes concern among specialists. This study focuses on the analysis of archival materials, with the aim of comparatively evaluating various treatment methods and surgical approaches to mandibular fractures. In recent years, the method of osteosynthesis using bone plates has proven its effectiveness, providing reliable fixation of fragments and the possibility of early functional loading in the postoperative period.
