The number of centenarians is growing in Russia, with statistics showing that more than 30,000 people have reached the age of 100, demonstrating improved health and well-being among senior citizens. While this represents a triumph of life expectancy, which has been steadily increasing over the past several centuries, it also brings with it other challenges. The most alarming of these are the declining quality of life and the shortening of healthy life expectancy in the aging population. The key trends and triggers for the global community are beauty, age, and eternal youth. It is estimated that people spend approximately $40 billion annually on prolonging their youth, and by 2030, this figure could rise to $60 billion. The leading healthcare trends in 2025 have been identified as well-being, longevity, and nutrition. Longevity is a general term for scientific approaches developed to promote a long and healthy life. This concept aims to slow down aging, prevent disease, and improve quality of life. Longevity is considered in a broad sense, from genetic factors to lifestyle, and includes practices supported by scientific research.
