The results of a study of the age-related dynamics of VLCRS infection and changes in the biochemical status of the blood of cattle the article described. The data presented indicate that the features and patterns in the development and manifestation of leukemia in cattle depend to a large extent on the age of the animal. In general, as cows age, the intensity of the infectious process increases. However, as our research has shown, the state of metabolism in the body of cows also plays an important role. Disturbances in protein metabolism and a decrease in the level of globulins in the blood can accelerate the development of the infectious process caused by BLV.
