The article is devoted to the resorption of roots. Objective: to analyze in what cases occurs during orthodontic treatment, at what strength (in grams) at what duration the resorption of roots occurs. Treatment of resorption is the careful processing and sealing of the channel, with the preliminary use of calcium-containing drugs. As a result of treatment, the focus of infection is neutralized. The tooth can be maintained for many years. It was revealed that the amount of resorbable tissue depends on the duration of treatment. One of the main reasons for the emergence of this resorption of the roots is an overdose of forces aimed at moving teeth. Factors that predispose to this pathology during treatment are: short and rounded roots of the teeth, large or small teeth, the absence of buds.
