A result of treatment in a patient with giant cell tumor of proximal femur

The results of treatment are presented in a young patient with giant cell tumor of proximal femur using the procedure of total endoprosthetics of the right hip. A double fracture of the right femur middle and lower thirds occurred in him 1.5 years after arthroplasty. The periprosthetic fracture was fixed using cerclage, and the Ilizarov fixator was applied to the lower third fracture. Consolidated femoral fractures, as well as a stable endoprosthesis of the hip was determined by x-ray one year after injury
