The article presents the results of the study of Alestuy estate located 9 kilometers north-east of the Khirkhira Mongolian mediaeval town in East Baikal region. The authors investigated the northern and western parts of the platform of the palace building and the northern part of the yard. The total excavation area was 407 sq.m. Roof tiles, which turned out to be among the most common findings of the site, are typologically compatible to tiles from the Khirkhira town and have many features in common with the tiles from Narsatui estate (Buryatia) and from Den-Terek town (Tuva). The site was also geomagnetically studied that allowed to reconstruct the structure of the central building and the whole estate.
