Results of surgical treatment of carotid stenosis at patients in the acute period of the ischemic stroke

Complex diagnostics and operative treatment of patients with the ischemic stroke, having stenotic disease of carotids is carried out. In the ACUTE period of an ischemic stroke 91 carotid endarterectomies, in later terms - 75 are executed. Indications to an early revascularization of the carotid arteries at symptomatic patients are discussed. The analysis of the nearest and long-term results of treatment of patients of both groups is carried out.
