Test results for the elastic modulus of fiber-reinforced concrete

Бесплатный доступ

The article discusses the results of testing the elastic modulus of fine-grained fiber-reinforced concrete reinforced with basalt, steel and polypropylene fibers. The study used a standard elastic modulus test method, regulated by the provisions of GOST 24452-80 «Concrete. Methods for determining prismatic strength, elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio». The test results showed that the introduction of fiber reinforcement into the concrete composition leads to a significant decrease in the average density of the resulting fiber-reinforced concrete, and a proportional decrease in its elastic modulus. In order to increase the average density of fiber-reinforced concrete to the level of unreinforced concrete, vacuumization of fiber-reinforced concrete mixtures was used.
