Results of tests on soybean samples from the collection of the all-Russia institute of plant growing in the Omsk region at latitude of 55.0 o

In the article are presented the results of a nine-year study of samples of soybeans world-wide collection of the All-Russia institute of plant growing, steadily maturing in the Omsk region. It was determined that in the continental climate the greatest influence on the degree of realization of the potential for soybean seed yield provided the weather in July. 26 samples from Russia, the U.S., France and others countries, including Prima Nordica (the Czech Republic), Fiskeby Typ XX (Sweden) were also discovered, all of which have successfully acclimatized in the latitude of 55.0 o and are the valuable source material in soybean breeding for high yield in southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia.
