Study results by the method to assess readiness of children aged 14-17 to realize their employment potential

Nowadays very often people have jobs not related to the specialty they got at educational establishments. According to statistics, half of the graduates have such employment. In this situation, we can talk about a problem of effective implementation of labor potential. Since it is formed in adolescence, it is important to carry out assessment of professional self-determination at school. It is reasonable to assess the extent to which students have formed professional preferences and readiness for labor potential implementation in the future. This work is aimed at presenting results of the method “Readiness of children aged 14-17 to labor potential realization” tested in junior and senior classes of School 13 of the city of Vologda and School 1 of the town Sokol in 2017. The sample consisted of 100 pupils of 9-11 forms, 100 parents and 10 teachers.
