The results of investigation of some indices of immunoresponsibility among patients with bacterial endocarditis surgically operated

The immunological analysis of 264 patients with acquired heart diseases (AHD) complicated by bacterial endocarditis has been conducted. Quantitative data of T-lymphocytes, NK-cells, B-lymphocytes, level of imrnunoglobulin, C3-component of complement, circulated immune complex (CIC) have been studied. It has been proved that the activity of bacterial endocarditis is accompanied by a significant disbalance of cell and humour immunity (among 89.7% of patients), level increase of CIC by 2.8 times with simultaneous increase of IgG, IgA, IgM and C3-component of complement. It has also been observed the sensibility to antigens of Staphylococcus groups (the main etiologic factor - 78.3% of patients).
