The article presents the results of a STEP-analysis of the Russian maternity wear market, outlines the target audience characteristics, and provides the data obtained through the belles-and-design analysis of outer maternity wear. The authors dwell on the results of the empirical research carried out to substantiate the priority of the loose-fitting design in maternity overcoat stock.
