In this article, the authors present the comparative results of traditional phlebectomy and endovenous laser obliteration (EVLO) in lower limb varicose veins in 54 patients. Obliteration of the GSV trunk was performed with a Biolitec Ceralas 15E laser with a wavelength of 1470 nm using an ELVeS Radial radial optical fiber or a domestic LAHTA-MILON laser. Evaluation of the early postoperative period was carried out by retrospective analysis of case histories. Evaluation of remote postoperative results after 1 year included: evaluation of patient complaints according to the CIVIQ-2 questionnaire and the VCSS scale, ultrasound data of the lower extremity veins and visual inspection data. When analyzing the postoperative results of our study, the advantage of EVLO over traditional phlebectomy was found. With this method, there was no recurrence of the disease, there was a good cosmetic effect.
