Efficacy of multicomponent treatment including surgery was assessed for 85 patients with locally advanced uterine cervical cancer. The first stage of the treatment included neoadjuvant chemotherapy and/or preoperative radiation therapy. The second stage of the treatment consisted of extended radical Wertheims hysterectomy. The third stage of the treatment included postoperative radiation therapy. Complications occurred in each period of the treatment were described. The 5-year survival rate was 86,5 % for stage II cervical cancer patients and 76,2 % for stage III cervical cancer patients. For patients with such unfavorable prognostic factor as metastases in pelvic lymph nodes, the 5-year survival rate was 68,4 %.
