Irkutsk Radar of Incoherent Scatter is located in East Siberia (52.88° N, 103.26° E) and used mainly for the ionosphere diagnostics. Serving for research into physical processes in the Earth’s upper atmosphere, the radar keeps all basic capabilities of radar measurements of space objects (SO). During regular month-long ionospheric measurements agreed with the International Geophysical Calendar, data sets which involve radar signal from SO are selected by special program module. The real time analysis is used for selected data. The SO number can be up to tens of thousands per month of standard ionospheric measurements. Methods of radar signal processing is given briefly. The study also shows the results of observing the satellite Kosmos-2251 before its impact with the Iridium-33 and after that. They are compared with the predicted conditions computed from available catalogues of SO orbit elements. The dynamics of distribution of a number of SO under observation is shown for 2006-2010 in 250-1200 km height range.
