Results of assessment of neurocognitive impairment in women with functional hyperprolactinemia by MMSE scale and montreal cognitive scale (MoCA)

Background. The Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) are the most commonly used methods for identifying cognitive impairment in both clinical and research settings. At the same time, in patients with HPLC such studies were performed in isolated studies. Methodology for revealing the research problem. 60 patients of fertile age with functional hyperprolactinemia syndrome (FPHL) were examined, who were observed at the Russian National Medical Research Center for the period 2021-2022. The age of the patients ranged from 25 to 45 years and averaged 34±6.5 years. Research results. Significant trends in increasing MCI prevalence were observed along with increasing prolactin values according to both MMSE and MoCA.
