The author of the article has studied and analyzed earlier scientific studies of the effect of chewing gum on the children aged from 9 to 12 years. Also, an appropriate analysis was performed on adults. The author conducted a survey among students of the The first St. Petersburg State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov. The author disclosures the results of the analysis in the article.
