The development of new effective drugs with a high degree of safety continues to be an urgent problem in ophthalmology. The search and study of bioregulators that control the processes of cell adhesion, proliferation, differentiation and morphogenesis continue to be the priority tasks of modern biomedical science in Uzbekistan. Domestic scientists have developed the concept of the optimal composition and properties of the ophthalmic film "Novacel Ziyo" based on sodium carboxymethyl cellulose with methylene blue [18]. The film is characterized by biocompatibility, biodegradability, permeability to water vapor, elasticity, strength, the presence of antimicrobial properties, the absence of cytotoxicity, pyrogenic and toxic effects. The aim of the work was the pathomorphological assessment of the regeneration processes during the therapy of the domestic ophthalmic film "Novacel Ziyo".
