The results of the application of the integrated preventive therapy of early hypogalactia in puerperas with placental insufficiency during the gestation period

The article describes the findings of the clinical approbation of the complex method aimed to prevent the early hypogalactia in 114 postpartum women with placental insufficiency during pregnancy. This method is based on the application pre-delivery and postpartum development of milk separation reflex, functional stimulation of the pulsator prolactin level, prenatal colostrum decantation and light therapy by visible infrared polarized light and the stimulation of the basal prolactin level by metoclopramide intake within the first 3 days after delivery. The effectiveness of the method is NNT = 1.6 (95% CI 1.2 - 2.1), OR = 41.9 (95% CI 32.4 - 50.5), which indicates its high efficiency.
