The RSCI is changing

The article considers changes in RSCI. First off, the concepts of platform elibrary.ru and Russian index of scientific citation were divided. Then the article specifies the concept of core of the RSCI, which is the criteria for the formation the collection of the most authoritative publications. In connection with these changes, three different versions of the Hirsch Index calculation are possible: on the elibrary.ru platform, according to the RSCI and to the core of the RSCI. Especial attention is drawn to the change in the approach to the formation of the RINC journal pool, the reasons for removing 344 journals from it, the criteria by which journals can be classified as unscientific publications. In conclusion, the procedure for recalling the article, or retraction, is considered.
